At The Farm
It takes big mowers and even bigger irrigation units to properly grow and maintain all the acres of sod at our farms.

Harvesting
All of our sod is harvested in 42 inch wide "big rolls." 

Delivery & Installation
Sod is shipped directly to the job site and placed with forklifts which are transported on the back of each of our trucks. All sod is installed the same day it's harvested so it's fresh upon arrival at your home. We also roll each lawn with a commercial sod roller immediately after installation to remove any air pockets from between the turf and soil.

Irrigation
Start watering your new lawn immediately after installation. For more detailed information on irrigation see our "How do I water and care for my new sod?" page.

Awards
Nebraska Sod received the 2001 Environmental Award from Mayor Don Wesley. This award is given for outstanding efforts to promote water conservation. Plantation Turf Type Tall Fescue was lauded as a major contributor to residential water conservation in the Lincoln area.
